Under: Grease Stains
I do not like to pretend to know a lot about grease
stain removal or cleaning products, but there is one thing that I know for certain and that is that grease stain removal is no painless task. As an example, the other day I thought I would take apart the carburetor from my 1964 Mustang, because there was a part in there that was sticking. It was Sunday and I was still in my church clothes. Now, I know that a normal man would have first went and changed before starting to work on their car, but I am not a normal man I guess.
My better half is usually there to remind me that it was not a good idea to be working on my car in my church clothes. I could be forgiven for my forgetting to change. You see, it was Sunday after all, I was done with church and the missus was away for the afternoon, leaving me in peace to do some much needed tinkering on my Mustang. I was caught in a moment of excitement, hey it happens.
It didn't even spring to mind the rule the wife had about not working on car parts at the kitchen table. But, my excuse is I need a good light source to see what part was sticking on my carburettor, and the kitchen table was the spot that had the best light for the job at hand. Anyway, long story short, the look on my wife's face when she came home to discover a grease filled kitchen along with a husband in greasy church clothes was priceless. The jammed up carburettor was the least of my worries when the missus told me that I needed to learn fast about removing grease stains, otherwise I was going to be the church's newest server for the next month's pancake social.
